My pup tore through every synthetic toy we tried, but these wool and leather ones actually grab her attention longer than ten minutes. The real wool texture seems to be the secret — she’ll gnaw on the same piece for a whole afternoon without shredding it.
The untreated leather held up through a full week of tug-of-war sessions with my border collie, and she actually prefers the wool texture over her old rubber toys. No weird chemical smell either, just a natural scent that doesn't linger on my hands after playtime.
My dog is a destroyer of all things plush, but these have held up for over two weeks now. The untreated leather edges are already his favorite part to gnaw on, and the real wool doesn't shed fibers all over my rug.
